install dotnet 3.5 windows from dvd

  1. mount dvd
  2. from server mnager add functionality
  3. select dotnet 3.5 and choose an alternative origin source. in my case D:\sources\sxs
  4 then install 
  
Connect to view a rdp session on terminal server

  mstsc /v:<hostname|ip> /shadow:<sessionid> /control /noconsentprompt

startup programs from command line
  shell:startup
